Housed in Ramayana inspired boutique Ten face, Sita Bar is furnished with touches that recall the timeless table.The black – tone cozy – and – classy bay is a modern interpretation of the ancient epic in is subtle old – meets – new architecture Dark – hued modern furnishings are teamed well with original Ramayana murals twisted into novel graphics

The cocktail served at Sita bar one – of – a – kind.Thanks to the resident mixologist Khun Thongchai the drinks list boasts creative cocktails like Lovelorn Tosakan (B 280), an Earl Grey – based cocktail mixed with Vodka, Triple Sec, Lime juice and sugar syrup (scented and sweet)

The mock tail here are also worth a sip.The must – try Tom Yum Cola (B 190) first makes you wonder how Tom Yum and Coke can go together.Well, it tastes like Tom Yum and Coke.But believe it or not, Tom Yum spices and the cola taste fully complement each other (spicy and refreshing). A side from drinks, Sita Bar also served scallops and more.

Music – Wise, the familiar Dj. Kenny (named Dj. Pipek as he’s on the decks at Sita Bar) weaves appetizing electronic jazz tunes mightly.He, however, admits his record box and laptop is loaded with all genres.”Just request”, he says!

Verdict : Sita Bar is a stylish – yet quiet place to hang out for a casual chat or for unwinding after work (happy hours Mon – Sat – 6 – 10 pm.) Sunday is, however, a good bet to get a (big) round of drinks in here as the buy – one – get – one – free deal is on offer from noon to lam!
