Terrific dishes to convince the fusion sceptice at the new Ten face Hotel

A cozy urban sanctuary at the end of Soi Ruamrudee 2, the new Ten face hotel and serviced apartment are the brainchild of Thongchai Busrapan, who was behind the now – closed concept store Playground and mange.
The operation is run by Noble Development.Tnspired by 10 faced demon Tosakan from the epic Ramayana,the somber – black, minimal design with a Thai contemporary touch was co – created by Vitoon Kunalungkarn of IAW, who was also responsible for the loot of Playground
Hidden inside this chic residence is its signature restaurant Wanara Eatery, serving fusion dishes for all – day dining.Wiht 76 seats both indoors and outdoors Wanara has a black interior toned up by being wooden chairs.The walls feature drawings of characters from the Ramayana and Thai letters.
With his charming and tasty delicacies, executive chef Sawaeng Boonpratham swiftly wing over anyone who usually turns up his nose at fusion.His creation are more than a headless mix and match of thoughtful culinary effort.The meal should start with freshly backed bread.Then you can dine on his Thai – Western dishes like pan – fried marinated snow fish with Thai herbal sauce for Bt 520, or fettuccine with seafood in a yellow curry sauce for Bt 340.
Carnivores will enjoy the Bt 520 grilled, bacon – wrapped.pork tenderloin served on a bed of mashed garlic and Thai red curry sauce and the Bt 720 grilled Australian tenderloin and foie gras served on sautéed spinach with mashed potato, broccoli and pumpkin.
For a light dish, try the smoked salmon with shrimp – koe salad wasabi – shoyu dressing for Bt 320.The fresh vegetable with raspberry sherbet for Bt 120 the Western four course set and Bt 320 for the Thai set.The menu changes by the day.
Then there’s the unique mock tail, such as Tom Yum Coke, Red Citrus Ginger and Sita sunrise Bt 190 each.
A mix – and – match creation by owner Thongchai, the Tom Yum coke conbineslemongrass and pleasing.The signature drink is red citrus ginger that will peak you up with a mix of minced ginger and the juice of the lemon, lime, grapefruit and orange. If you prefer cocktails and a choice of liquors, there’s the Sita Bar, open from 10 am to midnight
